Zinc chelate highly soluble in water with a great power to activate the synthesis of proteins involved in photosynthesis. It is crucial that, during the appearance of the first leaves, the zinc levels are adequate for it to grow and develop optimally. This micronutrient is involved as a precursor in the metabolic pathway for the formation of the hormone auxin. A zinc deficiency results in the appearance of chlorosis and a drastic decrease in leaf development.
